Small Biography

João Vaz Pinto was born in Lisbon, Portugal on the 18th of February, 1988. At 14 years of age he picked up his first guitar developing a passion for music and the instrument that would follow him throughout. He studied Architecture at Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, working summers as an intern in the architectural practice Patrimonio 48, based in Seville, Spain. In 2012 he continued his studies at Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, Switzerland. From 2013 to 2015 he worked in the office of Mario Botta, where he followed the development of several projects in different design phases. In 2015 he left the office to work on his master thesis on the theme of architecture as scenography for the human life. In 2016 he moved to Luxembourg where he had the opportunity to work in several architecture offices and participate in the incredible and exciting development of this country's architecture and infrastructure. There he has further developed his design sensibility, his ability to communicate ideas and projects with colleagues and clients, and his professional skills.
